From the people who bought, developed and sourced Foods, H&W and Consumables at Walmart Inc. and Dollar General.
Quality Origins began with a shared realization between Sam Whiteside and Natalia Kubantseva: some of the best products never reach their potential, not because they lack quality or innovation, but because the path to retail success is often more complicated than it should be. After spending decades inside major retailers and consumer packaged goods organizations, they saw firsthand how difficult it can be for suppliers to navigate merchandising decisions, product development, sourcing, commercialization, and business management at the same time.
Sam brought years of experience leading merchandising teams and making the decisions that determine which products earn a place on the shelf. Natalia brought a deep passion for food science, product innovation, and creating products that meet the highest standards of quality and consumer relevance. Together, they founded Quality Origins with a simple purpose: to become the kind of partner they wished more suppliers had access to.
Today, Quality Origins helps consumer packaged goods suppliers grow with confidence. We guide brands from early-stage product concepts to retailer line reviews, supplier sourcing, product development, launch execution, and ongoing business growth. More than consultants and more than brokers, we serve as an extension of our clients' teams, bringing retailer insight, technical expertise, and hands-on support to every step of the journey.
We believe great retail partnerships are built on trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to excellence. Our mission is to help great products become lasting retail success stories while creating meaningful partnerships with the people behind those brands.
Experience from the Inside. Partnership from the Outside. Grow With Us.
